As you may know, yesterday April 26 was the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. Since long ago I had the intension of making a piece for that date, but I couldn't finish it on time. I really tried to make it, but unfortunately yesterday I was almost all day outside my house and I just could sit down to work on the night. For that reason I tried to work the faster as possible, resigning quality. I regret that it has to be that way, because this work really has meaning for me. Also, something I had thought to do was give this piece a look of comic cover, for which I wanted to use a word in ukranian or russian as cover's title or logo. But despite that I thought about it long ago, and I requested help from some Ukrainian and European grous here on deviantart also long ago, I couldn't find help with the translation. I didn't wanted to use an online translator cause we all know that you can't be sure of the result and before making a mistake, I chose don't write anything as title. I know that sounds like a complaint, and I guess it is what it is. Anyway, that's not what matters. What matters is that this piece is my humble tribute to the Liquidators and their families, to the sacrifice made by them, to the lives lost and to those who survived to suffer the consequences later. while I was finishing this piece, I was listening to a Ramones's song called 'Here today, gone tomorrow', it has nothing to do with this but it has a line that says 'Someone had to pay the price' and I guess it's always like that, someone has to pay the price of the people on the top's mistakes.

People must remember that day. I wasn't here on dA yesterday (april 26) but I guess it wasn't any news, any bulletin about it, sure April's fools day is more important. sorry if I offend to some dA's fanatics but there're some things that should be said.

I hope you (the people who cares about it) like this humble tribute.

Como sabran, ayer, 26 de Abril de 2011, fue el aniversario del desastre de Chernobyl. Desde hace un tiempo tenía pensado hacer un trabajo para esa fecha, pero no pude hacerlo a tiempo. Intenté, pero ayer no tuve mucho tiempo libre y recien pude sentarme a trabajar a la noche. Por esa razón resigné calidad por velocidad. Lamento que haya sido así, porque este es un trabajo que realmente tiene significado para mí. Otra cosa que tenía pensada hacer era darle un aspecto de cubierta de comic, para lo cual quería usar una palabra en ukraniano o ruso como título. Pero a pesar de que tenía pensado eso hace bastante tiempo y de que también hace bastante tiempo solicité ayuda en algunos grupos ukranianos y europeos aquí en dA, no puede encontrar a nadie que me ayude. No quise usar un traductor online porque como todos sabemos, uno no puede estar completamente seguro del resultado, y antes de cometer un error preferí no escribir nada. Se que suena a queja y supongo que eso es lo que es. Como sea, eso no es lo importante, lo importante es que este es mi humilde homenaje a los Liquidadores y sus familias, al sacrificio hecho, a las vidas que se perdieron y los que sobrevivieron para luego sufrir las consecuencias. Mientras estaba terminando este trabajo estaba escuchando una canción de los Ramones llamada "Here today, gone tomorrow", algo así como "hoy aquí, mañana no". La canción no tiene nada que ver con esto, pero tiene una frace que dice "someone had to pay the price" (alguien tuvo que pagar el precio) y supongo que siempre es así, siempre alguien tiene que pagar por los errores de los de arriba.

Todos deberían recordar ese día. No estuve ayer por acá (26), pero supongo que no hubo ninguna noticia, ningún boletín sobre esto, seguramente el April's fools day es más importante. Lo lamento si ofendo a algunos fanáticos de dA, pero hay algunas cosas que hay que decirlas.

Espero que este humilde homenaje les agrade a las personas a las que le importa recordar ese día.
